We celebrated Chinese New Year in Reception
On Friday Reception took part in a virtual lesson on road safety. They listened well and learnt a song about the five steps to staying safe – hold an adults hand, stop, look, listen and think before crossing.
RLH and RW have had a terrific day so far dressed as their favourite Superheroes. They all look fantastic! Well done for supporting children who need some extra help from us!
This week, Reception enjoyed the awe and wonder of the outside world; visiting the school’s garden pond and marvelling at the many loud croaking frogs that had arrived.
Reception have been busy exploring all the new Christmas activities in the EYFS outdoor garden! They have been performing Christmas songs on the stage, making gingerbread men to sell in the shop and even sorting baubles!
Reception have had a busy day learning about Children In Need. They all joined in with Joe Wicks and his 24 hour exercise challenge! They then spent time making a fantastic spotty Pudsey bandana.
We think they all look very smart in their non-uniform!
Reception had fun sweeping all the leaves into the shape of a person today! We think it looks great!
Well done RLH and RW on all your hard work this year! We hope you now enjoy a well deserved break. Please remember to keep reading and check out the summer home learning at some point. Thank you parents for all the super observations uploaded to support your child’s learning journey throughout their year in Reception. Best wishes from all the EYFS team!
Hello everyone. Here is the video to explain the learning for this week. We hope you are all well. Keep up all the hard work.
