World Cup Football

Today saw the last of the quarter final matches being played. The first game was Iceland V Iran which went to penalties after a goalless draw. With Iceland’s goalkeeper (who is also one of the girls’ football keepers) making some fantastic saves, it was 1-0 to Iceland. The second game saw sibling rivalry again, with the Marston-Smith sisters taking on each other in the Croatia V Switzerland game, which ended in a 1-0 win for Croatia. The semi-finals and finals will be played during Sport’s week.
