In this lesson, we were looking at the Highwayman poem. The children had to become detectives and reopen the case of the highwayman and the robbery. We looked at different clues and had to decide whether he was guilty or not. We had discussed the reliability of evidence and related this to today’s crime and punishment. It is great to hear the children discussing fairness and linking the history they are learning to today’s society. Well done 6G- historians in the making!!
