Orchard continues to be a ‘good’ school – Ofsted June 2022
Orchard’s July 2022 Key Stage 2 results:
Reading: 90% (16% above national)
Maths: 90% (19% above national)
Writing 83% (14% above national)
We are extremely proud of our grading of Good by Ofsted and our exceptionally high Key Stage 2 results in the summer term 2022. Orchard has remained a good school for many years; the comments in the report (found in Ofsted section on the website) praised the school’s curriculum design and the behaviour and attitudes of the pupils as well as how happy and safe children feel at Orchard.
Academic success, coupled with the wider opportunities and support offered at Orchard, really do contribute to ensure children leave ready for the challenges of secondary school and beyond.
Pupils have wonderful opportunities at The Orchard Primary School. They can be themselves and are respected for who they are. Pupils grow into responsible and thoughtful young people.
